Beautiful aged barolo. Still has good tanins but drinking well (no decanting). Light rusty color. Dark Cherry flavour with more rustic overtones which is really nice.

This 2008 Cab has aged well. Still plenty of structure and could age longer. Lovely cab. Not overly oaky with good fruit The nose shows some age in a good way and the mouth still has lots of fruit but a little secondary flavours coming through. Really nice wine.

Living in South Africa I don’t get to drink many barbarescos. Luckily I have a number still in the USA which I bring over when I can. I really am enjoying this old Italian. The nose is beautiful with a herby rusty component. The tanins are still strong but enjoyable and Well integrated. Drinking well now but it will still last as it opens up beautifully in the glass.

I was very surprised with how nice this wine was. Initially it smelled. Wry old old world but within an hour it opened up with fruit coming out on palate. The secondary flavours came through with a a little bit of wood influence Overall it was drinking very nicely and for a wine of its age it was delicious

The 2014 is showing really well. Fruity nose. Light fruit with a little herbal note on the palate. Really impressive for the price and age. Much better than I expected. The oak influence was very subtle which I enjoy. It has aged beautifully.

Really interesting Sauvignon Blanc. The 50% skin contact adds to the colour and texture of the wine. Not sure I would pick this out as Sauvignon Blanc in a blind tasting. Interesting and enjoyable.

Wow this wine is super pure. Nose has bright plumbs. Palate is right but enjoyable. Really clean finish with complext flavours of dark fruit with a little olive note. I would leave it for another year or so.

Impressive 15 yr old Pinot from Oregon still has so much life left. Good fruit and structure. The palate as nice tart fruit. Drinking well but still has a lot to give over the years.
