8/20/23, 11:09 PM - jonboy74 --apologies for the delayed reply. hope you enjoyed the '77 fonseca last night. as to your question, i prefer to double decant to deal with sediment but otherwise prefer to let the wine evolve as i drink it. i'd rather not miss the early evolution. this runs the risk, of course, that the wine's gone before one has a chance to savor its evolution!
