Decanted using a candle. Strong Dark Ruby color mild nose of cherry and anise. Muted palate predominantly cherry and managed tannins.

11 Oct 2023. Decanted carefully with noticeable sediment. First taste was good, nice pronounced fruit on the palate but flat on the nose.

.... but after an hour it was a completely different wine. The nose developed nicely, complex, blackberry fruit with graphite kick. Palate extended, long smooth fruit with the tannins pleasantly present but not overpowering. 92
