Drinking great. Paired beautifully with my wife's delicious duck confit! Let it breathe for 20-30 minutes.

Extremely smooth--tannins are nicely resolved and the wine is still a tad young perhaps but drinking very well. Berries, herbs and a tiny bit of spice. Not much terroir, but given the blend that is to be expected. Pleasantly surprised at how good this is and wish I'd bought more!

Really pleasantly surprised. Chocolate, cedar and whole lot of other things going on here. Dry, nice tannins, yet bursts of fruit. Really a nice complex wine that went perfectly with coq au vin.

Beautiful, complex wine. A balanced right bank that will please just about any palette. My guess is another year or two of cellaring and it will be close to perfect.

Drank a bottle at a terrific restaurant with frog legs and venison.

Needs to breath, then bitterness fades to a very nice, full bodied wine.

Tannins still noticable but agreeable, feels good in the mouth. Subtle, earthy. I think it improves for a few more years.

This is the finest white wine I have ever tasted. The 2000 is excellent, but the 2001 really is perfect. So perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not a bit of acidic harshness. I will cry the day I finish my last bottle.

Really solid stuff with great balance. Went perfectly with a spicy bbq brisket. Drinks well today, but enough tannins that it should be even better in a couple of years.
