A nice light red wine. Slightly sweet with dark fruit notes, especially Concord grape. Held its own against prosciutto pizza but not an entirely successful pairing. Perhaps coming to the end of its drinking life span

A very nice wine for the price ($11). Smooth, simple, a little sweet. Some fruit, a little chocolate. Not a strong presence but did well with pizza. To be clear, nothing complex or sophisticated but a very pleasant budget wine.

Nice soft red. Gentle black fruit notes with a slight bitter note to the finish.starts rather dry but opens up. Would pair well with dishes with subtle tastes. Might be overwhelmed by strong flavors.

A very nice wine. At its best without food. Did reasonably well paired with lamb shish kabab but served as a nice background to the food. Nice fruit. Very smooth cherry & chocolate notes.

Nice, solid Valpolicella. Strong chocolate and cherry notes. Smooth finish. Did well with a pepperoni pizza. Definitely needs an hour plus to breathe.

Delightful rioja! Smooth, well balanced, nice finish. Strong blackberry notes. SIght bitter edge. Did very well with lamb chops - subtle. Didn't do well with a fruit tart desert - but few reds do. Definitely will buy again. Yum!

Dark cherry notes. Very smooth if decanted 45 minutes before drinking. Delightful sipped without food. Very good with. prosciutto pizza but has a slight bitter edge. Try with cheese board.

A nice rioja. Relatively dry with appropriate fruit (not too much not too little). Paired well with steak & green veggies. Not as well with beets(too sweet). Give it time to breathe before drinking (60 minutes+).

Very smooth after breathing, mild fruit & tannins. Blackberry and other dark fruits. Better when consumed without food. Did not handle a pairing with a sweet taste well. Better with mild foods ( steak, potato, carrots, etc.)

Acid and slightly bitter on opening. Dark fruit and chocolate notes. Needs to breathe for at least an hour which allows it to open up and become smooth enough to drink without food. Definitely preferable consumed with a meal.

Very nice Chianti. Give it some time to breathe. Nice raspberry notes. Slightly bitter initially becomes very smooth/pleasant as it breathes. Did well with pepperoni pizza.
