Explosive nose is right. Super intense rich fruits and a bit of the cat pee thing. Flavor is a juicy melon bomb with great acidity. Enjoyed this bottle, but my previous one not so much. I think it'll depend on your mood and tolerance for a highly aromatic wine.

Showing beautifully. Yellow apples and pear. Not as lean as my previous bottle. Earthiness/mushroom thing you get from Meunier is there and the chard cuts through with the apple nicely. Blin is fantastic.

Fantastic. Already has a little petrol in the nose. Juicy but with high acidity. Great tension. Excellent value.

One of the best rose's I've ever had. Flambee'd blood orange, marzipan, heriloom tomato water and skins. Pecans and almonds and a spicy dill'y finish from the oak. Just fantastic. The color is gorgeous too.

This was really nice. Green apple and a lanolin/furniture wax scent on the nose. High acid and nutty, very clean with no weird funky notes you can sometimes get in these wines. Lovely.

Second bottle showed much better than the first. A lot of cheese on the nose. Palate has some pineapple flavor and slight oxidative nuttiness. Medium+ acid and a really nice spicy bitter finish.

Really liked this. Earth, hay, strawberries covered in dirt on the nose. Rasperries, green stems, sour cherry and some cola on the palate. Juicy, not too much acid. Fun and easy to crush.
White
Pear and Wet Hay. A little honey and roundness from oxidation. Really nice.

A bit fat.. 14% ABV, low acidity and not a whole lot of aromatics either. Drank more like a reductive nondescript Bourgogne Blanc. Not terrible, but not a whole lot of character.

Great acid, brioche bready nose. Sour raspberry on the front of the palate. Turns to toast on the back. Kind of raspberry Jam on toast. Yum.

Nose of white flowers and lime syrup. Electric acidity and minerality of a Mosel riesling (This is also from the Mosel, called Moselle in Luxembourg!). No tropical fruit, mostly honey lime and minerals. As it sits in the glass and evolves some jasmine, chamomile and green apples that remind me of Gruner. Also reminded me of a Manni Nossing Kerner from Alto Adige I had a while ago. Really excellent stuff and my first wine from Luxembourg! Excellent QPR.

This was fantastic. Bitter orange, grapefruit marmalade, agave syrup covered cantaloupe with a medium high lemon lime acidity that cut through great. Reading these reviews it seems people were trying to drink this as a dessert wine. Even in Garagiste's own review they said this was more like a Spatlese Riesling. This is off-dry and paired perfectly with Vietnamese food. It is light on it's feet and not syrupy at all. I will be seeking out more.

Bitter orange, salted orange peels. Umami/beef jerky savory sort of note. Ripe tangerine with a kind of rounded finish (from the flor?). This is an awesome rose.

Pours very light yellow. Honeysuckle/jasmine flowers/super salty minerality. Light toasted notes. I think this needs more time.

pours a medium deep gold. Not at all a dark oxidative color. Amazing considering Cork was soaked and moldy. Only 3/4 of it came out even with a Durand. Rest of the cork fell in and then quickly decanted into a new vessel. Nose has some furniture wax, menthol thing going on. Palate is off dry like a kabinett, honey and faint woodsy/mint flavor. Pinesol. Orange bitters. Bittersweet almond finish. Medium acid.

Bought at the Cantina Terlan tasting room outside Bolzano on a vacation. Smells like juicy and grassy melon with little white flowers. Gorgeous bouquet hits you like a good perfume. Flavor is pineapple/mango with a hint of grassiness you get from ripe Sauvignon Blanc. Medium+ acid. Very complex and super aromatic. Some salty minerality as it opens up. Fantastic wine, wish I could get more.

Disgorged 2021. On lees longer than I've been alive. Smells like honeycomb, sauternes and earthy mushroom. Pours a deep dark yellow. Palate is surprisingly tangy with lemon lime, but more of that tertiary mushroom/forest floor underneath as well. Still had plenty of bubbles. This is a crazy one. Not really comparable to anything I've had before. Like a lemon/lime soda with tons of honey/Sauternes flavor but without the sugar. Hard to believe it's brut nature. Drink now.

Really great and light on the lychee/rose water that can sometimes be overpowering. This is a much more balanced Gewurztraminer than what most (including myself) would think. Medium+ acid, white flowers, a little ginger spice. No way you would think this is 14% ABV without reading the bottle. Light and balanced with a nice acidity.

Rich buttery nose. Chalky tangy lemon cake on the palate. Very classic brut vintage champagne. 50/50 Pinot Noir/Chardonnay but drank more like a blanc de blancs to my palate. Great stuff.

Super savory, delicate cherry and strawberries with green tops attach. Like a delicate Red Burgundy in sparkling form. Medium+ acid. Beautiful wine and paired very nicely with our Omakase for Valentine's day. This is what I think people mean by vinous sparkling. California is killing it with sparkling wines these days.

Smells like cantaloupe and mangoes covered in gasoline. Lemon lime candy and agave syrup on the palate. Overripe pineapples. As it opened up a lot of minerality coming through, like licking a wet rock. Absolutely fantastic. My wife said it was one of the best wines she's ever tried and I think I agree.

Smells a little cheesy. Usually get this note from pinot noir based Champagnes with some age. On the palate, cherry and a savory herbal finish. Very nice.

Bottle 3 of 8. Continue to love this wine, still drinking very young with high acid. Has a perceived sweetness lemon creamy and nice crystalline minerality.

12.5% ABV; Blend of five grapes (Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, Sauvignon Blanc, Saorin, Riesling). Smells like peach ring candy. Med+ acidity. Peach follows on the palate with green herbs and white flowers. Honeydew, persimmon covered in light agave syrup. Finishes savory compared to the fruit on the front of the palate. So much flavor and texture here for a relatively low ABV. Beautiful balance of perceived sweetness and acidity. First Quintarelli... hit it out of the park. Fantastic.

Some of that barnyard/Jura funk on the nose with a hint of oxidation, but not much. Palate is completely flat.. three others and I could not pick out any discernible flavor. medium acid lemon'y water? Not necessarily any off flavors, just kind of dead. I'm wondering if I got a flawed bottle. Hopefully better luck on my second bottle.

From magnum at Thanksgiving. Pours a lightly transparent ruby. Funky juicy barnyard goodness. Cherry juice and manure. High acidity. Reminded everyone of a great barrel aged sour beer (but not quite as sour). Not for everyone, but worked great for our party.

Dark ruby. Smells like leather, meat and dark jam. Some light effervescence when first opened. Fast food sitting out on the counter for a day kind of smell. Palate is less intense than the nose. Ripe blackberries, slight tannins. Mouthfeel is dry like clay. Dusty. Wish more of the aroma came through on the palate, but enjoyable.

Bottle 1/7. Pours green tinged light gold. Creamy almond and lemon tart and some oak on the nose. Medium acid. Palate follows the nose with baking spices, lemon tart and almond bitterness. Really pretty. As it gets to room temp you can taste a little alcohol which is its only small detriment.

fruity, manure, and hay on the nose. Earthy funk. So weird for a chard. Tastes incredible and way more “normal” than the nose. Creamy lemony (like lemon tart/confit) with a funk/mildew hint. It’s like burg with a little jura funk without oxidativeness. Medium acidity Big Body. Enjoyed a lot

Light golden color. Smells like almonds and a little cat pee funk. Palate is rich with lemons and some red apple and a smooth medium acidity. Not a ton of autolytic notes but don't mind at all in this case. Bubbles are soft, not sharp. Cheesy note in glass two. Really nice.

Bought directly from Antonio at the winery. Pours a beautiful dark ruby/garnet. Wild bramble berries and stems. Really fruity, but earth and wild greens/branches in the back (herbal). Like walking through a damp forest and picking berries. Great acidity and paired well with home made pizzas. Fantastic wine and QPR.

7 years on lees (bottled 2014, disgorged 2021). Pours a pale yellow. Brioche and butter on the nose and palate. Medium+ acidity. Drying chalkiness on the finish. Almost saline. Really wonderful and could have kept it longer, but it was great where it's at now as well.

This was excellent. At 15% ABV I was worried about this being flabby, heavy or hot, but it had incredible acidity that really cut through beautifully. Got earthy blackberry and plum and halfway through the bottle a black licorice note that was really nice. Supremely well balanced. Impressive wine making.
