November 21, 2017 - Interesting pinot with some life left. Very dark nearly opaque (for a pinot) color. Nose is a hint of strawberry, slightly darker cherry with blackberry and touch of stem. Mouth feel is soft but not velvety. Flavor consistent throughout the palette. Tastes of dark, dried black cherry with a finish of chalk and pencil lead to me. (I know that doesn't sound like pinot but its what I'm getting) Not necessarily a favorite of mine. It is a wine that is on the down slope but probably had a wow factor when it was younger.

September 3, 2012 - dark strawberry, rasberry and blackberry, with very soft tannins. A more full bodied pinot noir -- almost syrah like.
