August 14, 2012 - Beautiful ripe nose, good solid acids, but round in the mouth and showing orchard fruits and red apples. Delicious, but a little low on tension (no doubt a factor of the vintage). As Chablis, I like this better than the 2009 Servin Les Clos served with this.

June 24, 2012 - Marquis Grand Cru Burgundy Lunch (Boneta Restaurant - Vancouver, BC): Beautiful nose, opening with some great floral aromas along with a bunch of crushed oyster shells, freshly squeezed lemon juice, a touch of red apple skins and some restrained tropical notes. A bit denser with more body on the palate, displaying toasted oak, spice, lots of honey, lemongrass, minerals, and some more floral characteristics. A bit of sweetness shows off the ripeness of the vintage, yet it's nicely balanced by the strong showing of acidity. Medium length finish ending on notes of caramel, ginger, and lemon. I really enjoyed this, and preferred this to the Servin Les Clos that was tasted along side. Fantastic

May 17, 2011 - Honey barley, marshmellows, strawberries nose. Fine Minerals and elegance, and sweet white fruits, finishes with a precise n fine light sourness that is more elegant than the les clos. This too has more aging potential than the les clos.
