March 28, 2021 - Dark fruited nose with violets, black berries, and black olives. Medium acidity with lots of tannins and more dark berries, cherries, savory notes, and violets on the palate. Good finish. A very pleasant and high quality wine. I don't think it's showing everything it has at this point (especially not on the nose, which seemed quite muted) and would hold on at least 5 more years. Having said that, I've never been wowed by Rostaing, not sure what it is...

February 19, 2021 - Purchased 2016, perfect cork and fill. Dark red to rim. Opens up after an hour with a nice mix of dark fruits, leather, game, smoke. Medium body, ripe lush fruit, good acidity and tannins, well balanced, medium-long finish. Excellent.

Nose a bit reductive and shy at first, but opens up nicely after an hour with a complex mix of dark fruits, leather, game, smoke. Medium body, ripe lush fruit, good acidity and tannins , it’s well balanced, medium-long finish. Excellent stuff, should drink well for at least another decade.
