March 18, 2016 - Started with aromatic fireworks, but a bit acidic, though improved with food. Is this a closet grand cru despite village designation and worth 2x Suchots? Debatable, but clearly enjoyable wine.

November 26, 2014 - WINE TO MAGIC; 11/25/2014-11/30/2014 (TORINO - PALAZZO CARIGNANO): Solito marroncino velato e non filtrato che dissimula la giovane età.
Solita china, rabarbaro, melanzane grigliate e minestrone. Spezie dei raspi.
In bocca è gessoso, di corpo sottile, ma non esile, mineralità vegetale che risciacqua la bocca. Frutto salato, caldo, succoso e molto ampio.
Tutto a regola d' arte, tannino e acidità bilanciati tra loro, legno non pervenuto e finale eterno al chinotto
Purtroppo ( o per fortuna) i vini di Prieuré-Roch non regalano sorprese inattese, i descrittori e lo stile sono inconfondibili e sempre quelli, a volte rischiano di appiattire le diverse denominazioni tra loro, ma sono sempre magici e barocchi nelle loro sfaccettature di colore -

February 18, 2014 - Probably this Domaine's best 07, very cloudy and very fragrant nose with dark tea, spices and red fruit. Light to medium palate that is very amiable, great tension, but perhaps good to enjoy now than later.
