Community Tasting Notes 2

July 1, 2013 - NobleRottersSydney - blind Shiraz (Verde, East Sydney): {screwcap, 14%} (Gordon) Bright, youthful and cherry-like. This light-medium effort rather got lost in my notes. Light but intense. The Oakridge 864 range are pretty impressive wines – don’t know why I didn’t write more on this. Too young? Too closed? Probably.

May 7, 2010 - Australia Trip: Tasted at the winery. Full bodied with flavors of sweet cherries and notes of oak. Mouth filling tannins. Needs 2-3 more years in the bottle. Long fruity finish. (Doris 90)
