August 19, 2022 - Festival of Phil (Phil's place, Putney, Sydney): From Coravin. Slightly oxidised caramel notes, muted black fruits, a little red currant, savoury spice. Sour, a little cream, oaky tannins, not much fruit on the palate, pretty awful.

December 25, 2020 - Decant for 2 Hours and it’s smooth, light and fruity. Probably past due but surprised it has held together for so many years.

April 21, 2019 - Only lasted about 30 minutes in the glass.
Initial tasting was lovely good fruit and nice mouthfeel but it soon became thin and listless.
Probably held on to it about 5 years too long.

May 25, 2013 - Grampians Shiraz Verticals - Seppelt and Mount Langi Ghiran Tasting (Sydney, Australia): Corked, a shame as I really wanted to see how this wine was travelling and also to have it next to the 97 Reserve.

January 9, 2013 - Had been lying still in the cellar since purchased in 2001. Cork in good condition. It all showed in the wine - a rich velvety colour with a wonderful spicy and chocolately nose. Decanted for about 1 hour. Fair bit of fine sediment in the wine. Its full bodied and tastes of plums, leather, spice and earth. Its all harmonious at the moment. Good length too. I'm probably being a little stingy with the points.
