June 19, 2021 - Party for AF defense. This was a very solid bottle of Bordeaux. Nothing flashy, but well proportioned and all in balance. Very nice for the $17 I paid.

From prior notes:"Garnet/purple color. Nose was earthy/barnyard at the open. Fruit came through as the wine opened. Dark fruits, currants, herbs. Medium to light mouthfeel, tannins resolved. Medium finish, elegant...."
This bottle was smooth and nicely aged, classic Bdx profile. Enjoyable, would call it good not great. I think I paid $29 10 years ago...so not a bad QPR1 person found this helpful Comment -
