December 19, 2022 - Smoke, red fruit, dark fruit, and sous bois. Good layers on the palate with weightless power.

September 11, 2021 - It’s a birthday day and the host opened 4btls of this wines. It’s a shame that there were at least 2 variances tasting. The color variances, one bottle shown comparable pale of aged but the other were deep ruby, cloudy. Nose was shy but not pleasing. It gave silky palate but watery week body, tight structure with bitterness aftertaste. I felt high alcohol content. It did not impress me.

    November 15, 2020 - 1/6, good cork.
Pale/medium garnet. Ripe red fruited nose - strawberries and cream with a touch of spice. Medium bodied, quite ripe, fleshy, strawberry fruit, vanilla, soft tannins, decent fresh acidity carries a very good length lightly savoury finish. Should improve.

October 25, 2020 - Groffier's 2009 Amoureueses is killer tonight with a perfumed nose of ripe red & black cherry, smoke, and sous bois. Rich fruit but surprisingly light on its feet, you see the influence of the solar vintage but this exudes finesse and elegance. I dig this.

January 17, 2020 - During a Paulee dinner, so only brief impressions. Very nice showing with red fruit, good ripeness, spices. Stays elegant. Good length.
