    December 9, 2022 - This was a beauty!!!
There was an initial "funk" on the nose and a "bite" on the finish, but they quickly went away. I will definitely decant the next bottle.
What remained was wonderful - great color, balanced, good acidity, fresh and inviting, spice on the nose and the palate, and the fruit ..... ah, the fruit.
The fruit (on the nose and on the palate) was wonderful, and the finish stretched on and on and on.
This would have been WOTN, except for the presence of a stunningly beautiful 2000 Mouton.

October 29, 2019 - Open to air for an hour before dinner. Nice nose but a bit tight. Started to open up only an hour into dinner. Floral and perfume nose. Soft and round on the palate with red fruits. Always like Chambolle!

August 31, 2018 - Feminine. Round, polished, smooth, lovely. A very nice wine but needs more depth to become a great wine. A little sharp finish. But that's no surprise at a wine a called feminine.

August 17, 2017 - I serve this at a corporate dinner. Lots of wows and aahs. Very expressive nose with roasted arolas, black fruit and red fruit, spices very complex with an animalic touch. Ripe palate, good freshness, excellent length. A wonderful Charmes. LLM has his style, call it modern because of the high quality oak but I am not sure you should call it modern because there is no heat an over extraction. Quite the opposite, the wines remain Burgundian, elegant and fresh. Love it!

May 13, 2017 - Short note - sweet kirch, morelles, oak, smoke, spice, clove, mild pepper, violets, vanilla, deep complexity, long finish and concentration, intense red berry flavours, outstanding quality 92p

Needs alot of air to blossom!
