December 10, 2021 - Christmas Wimps 2021 - Home Alone 2 table (La Trompette): Really interesting on the nose, with spearmint and spice and (with air) creamy caramel. Amazingly fruity on the palate, by turns tangy and brambly, then sweet and strawberryish. Very, very long on the finish, which started out quite grippy and became quite spicy. The wine continued to develop throughout the lunch in a most impressive manner - probably my #2 of this extremely competitive flight.

January 11, 2014 - An amazing wine and this was after a declassified DRC. Tickles all the senses. Great structure , with fruits, tannins and acidity all well balanced.
