January 17, 2021 - In a great spot, very north Rhone-like, dark fruit balanced by floral and savory notes. Much better than last weeks 2010 Radio Coteau Timbervine, which was much better a few years ago (little fruit left, with acidity dominating)

June 30, 2020 - A pretty wine showing off the floral side of syrah. It offers sweet aromas of violets, raspberry pastilles, and game. Soft and balanced. Tastes French. Very elegant, but lacking energy. Drink now.

March 20, 2020 - Amazing - perfect balance of fruit, earth and aromatics. After this week of COVID-19 madness, our house was completely worn out and ready for something special and this wine delivered and then some. It's partly where I am after a tough week, and it's partly where this wine is after 10 years in the bottle, but either way, it was the best Friday night bottle I've had in a very long time. Congratulations to Joe and the Donelan team.

January 26, 2020 - Very good. Classic syrah aromas of black pepper, gamey meat, and sweet blackberries. Very smooth, with voluptuous waves of flavor. I like the balance of fruit sweetness, acidity, and tannins. This is one of the best American syrahs I've tasted, and it is one for which Old World syrah drinkers might have an affinity. Unlike other reviewers, I feel like this wine is at the beginning of its drinking window.
