November 29, 2019 - Popped and poured in the local little Italian restaurant with no decanter. Kinda musty at first, mellowed by the time dinner was done but still not exciting. Corked and brought home and vacu-vinned. Half glass of leftovers two nights later was everything I hoped this wine would be. Plenty of fruit, fully resolved.

April 29, 2017 - Cellaraid Italian Tasting - Under the Tuscan Sun (Fumee, Millenia Walk): clear, deep ruby; clean, pronounced nose of chocolate, toffee, coffee; dry, medium acid, tannic, full body, blackberry, smoked meat, toffee, chocolate; nice but not something memorable

June 3, 2016 - Coarse tannins, almost tarry, and a rather pointed acidity - this is for sturdy food only. A little bit of sweet violet like fruit peeps out from under the blanket but this sleepyhead was a bit cranky.

    February 14, 2016 - Corked

September 23, 2014 - Typical Nebbiolo light colour. Great nose, evolves nicely with time in the glass. Smooth in the mouth, tannins well integrted, strong acidity yet with a little sweetness. Finished is no more than medium, becomes a little disappointing
