December 19, 2023 - en magnum - very ready to drink now. Sweet fruit and vanilla on the nose, and plenty of oak.

November 3, 2023 - Grand Jury du Vin - Republic of Georgia; 11/1/2023-11/9/2023 (Republic of Georgia then stopover in Paris and Dijon): Wine 5 – Very ripe yet cool, cool black fruit, cassis, noticeable tannins, very ripe.

Afterthought – A bit riper than others, medium concentration. Really well made wine that showed well against the big boys.

February 11, 2023 - from magnum. decanted 45 minutes after opening, and served 1 hour after decanting. Plenty of sweet fruit, vanilla, oak, and leather. Drinking pretty nicely now.

November 13, 2022 - Sweet Merlot fruit with a bit of vegetal Cabernet Franc meets slighty bitter cedar oak flavors, modern, rich, but not overextracted or alcoholic as some other right bank 2010s; a tasty Castillon wine, just not very complex. Good now, but will hold 5-8 years. - 90 points

December 2, 2021 - en magnum - served 20 minutes after decanting. Very fragrant nose, with cedar and woodsy notes. Very nice and open with some nice, ripe fruit on the palate. Drinking very well right now.
