March 10, 2024 - Bottle opened in the restaurant without any particular preparation as recommended by the creator of this wine.

Nose of cherry, kirsch and wilted rose.

Quite austere on the palate, with a juice that struggles to deliver immediately but which reaches a good balance after a good aeration with aromas of leather. The wine has a beautiful silky feel but is in dire need of significant aeration. More alcoholic finish with incisive bitters which enhances the whole with a fresh finish with raspberry which returns boomerang-style.

Very good wine, not tasted in optimal conditions unfortunately. But the 2011 tasted a few months earlier had impressed me more, 2009 being a more sunny vintage and therefore much richer, it is hardly surprising, this bottle needs more time on its hands.

Out of the 6 Reynaud wines, the one i liked the less without being bad, alcool seemed higher, some heat on the finish.

April 28, 2023 - En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Seven (Bordeaux): "Served blind
Quite savoury, earthy, slightly peppery, black over red fruits, acid is slightly sharp, tannic burr rasps the palate.
    I went with a Languedoc/Roussillon blend from a warm vintage - perhaps Minervois ?"
