October 6, 2017 - Wow. Nice juicy syrah. Huge fruity nose. Plum, overripe blackberry. Long peppery finish. Last bottle from a temperature controlled cellar at a grocery store in Enumclaw Washington at a discount no less. What a score! Fantastic wine.

September 23, 2016 - On the nose, big, heavy, and plodding dark fruit. Lighter on the palate, and vastly more nimble. Nice acid. Firm tannins. Average mouthfeel and finish. I have a couple more bottles, but seems pretty peak now, will probably subside from here.

March 28, 2015 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (R&D's): Inky color. Coffee, currants, roasted game and florals. Black fruit and spice on the palate. Nicely balanced. Guessed domestic Syrah.

March 23, 2014 - Purchased and held for 2.5 years. Dark purple, almost explosive nose even on Day 2. Well integrated with a good blend of fruit and terroir. Medium finish and enjoyed on a cool sunny spring afternoon outside.

(SYZYGY Syrah Walla Walla Valley) Dark in color with purple at the rim. A moderately aromatic wine with high toned notes of violets, blueberries, game, and milk chocolate. The palate is perfumed and plush with blue fruit flavors and soft, grainy tannins. Les Collines, Morrison Lane, and Seven Hills vineyards. Aged 19 months in neutral French oak. 15.2% alcohol. 430 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
