February 27, 2018 - Meaty, fresh, energetic with great balance. Very sad to see this was my last bottle. At 8 years, this wine was not losing steam.

September 11, 2014 - Nez très intense, fruité (griotte) et épicé. Bouche fraîche et énergique, d'une grande intensité aromatique et d'un équilibre parfait. Très belle tenue pour ce vin complexe et racé.

July 8, 2014 - 90-91 range. Splash decanted and enjoyed with leftover grilled chicken & brown rice. Red currants, strawberry, cranberry on nose with similar fruit profile on palate. Medium body, some minerality / wet stone, high acidity (very bright fruit profile) & medium+ finish. Great food wine. Really enjoyed and would buy again. Very good value and excellent Summer wine to pair with BBQ.

July 3, 2013 - Fairly dark in color. Nice dank aromas, like a musty old cellar, the underside of a mushroom growing in old growth, briar, a slight notion of white asparagus stalks and a rusty nail. Very interesting and enticing. Similar on the palate, very rustic, more rusty flavors, nice funky red fruits, burning mushrooms, and an interesting slightly frothy texture as it moves around the mouth. Nice acid on the finish with flavors of minerals, bright sour cranberry, and metallic tasting fish skin.. but really it's like you just chewed up a bunch of quartz. Very nice stuff, and a fantastic change of pace. What a wild ride.
