July 28, 2013 - Nez très pur, sensation minérale, citron jaune, fleurs blanches. Bouche pure et ciselée avec un joli gras, il semble que le producteur recherche la finesse plutôt que la puissance.

July 1, 2011 - Smoky nectarines, sharp lemons and limestone now. Has plenty of potential. Not rated

May 16, 2011 - Nose slightly reductive, white smoke. Fine powdery structure, white fruits, and mineral and young lemons.

May 16, 2011 - Burgundy 2011 Day 1: Visit to Domaine Vincent Dancer (Chassagne-Montrachet): From vines planted in 1958. We tasted two samples of this – one from a new oak barrique and one from a second use. Not much difference surprisingly, save that the later wine was rather reductive on the nose. Past that, there were nice scents of chalk, butter and cream and little toasty hints. The palate showed superb balance and a fine, grippy sense of structure, with steely mineral running through beautifully pure flavours of apple and pear on a light bed of cream. Lots of complexity for a wine in its infancy! The finish was especially impressive – long, palate-staining, it rounded off the wine well, giving it a beautiful completeness. 92-93
