May 31, 2012 - Simple Hedonisms Rosé Panel; 5/1/2012-8/5/2012: I am sure was worth the 90 point mentions last summer when first released, but its showing the typical signs of a Rose' after its first year.
Its still drinkable, and some have a palate even for the style, its not like the rose' goes bad, it just morphs as it loses the fresh aspect.
    No score thus.

Still on sale (or was recently) at Kermit Lynch. If you have any drink up. If you see it, wait for 2011.

September 12, 2011 - Wine Club: Rhone under $50 (Bill's House): Wow, this is awesome. This is more of a fall rose, with a good amount of body, intense concentration, and even noticeable tannins. Very refreshing, with awesome acidity. This might be even better in a few years.

August 26, 2011 - Wow, what a pleasant surprise this was! Despite the $20-plus pricetag, this rose, nearly as deeply colored as a Tavel rose, brings a fascinating nose and palate, rife with herbs and even what I imagine you would get if you were able to fractionate garrigue and take only its more high-toned components. This is complemented with a wonderful and bright blend of juicy acdity with a watermelon-strawberry flavor profile. Somehow it maintains itself with its high acidity without throwing too much residual sugar into the mix. Would be wonderful with many summer dishes including whitefish, spring mix with melon or watermelon, and pretty much anything you could see yourself enjoying on the back deck on a hot summer's day. Think scallops, angel hair with pesto, and the like.

This easily hits the rarely found 90+ point rose mark.
