Community Tasting Notes 3

March 26, 2019 - Fine Wines SG - “Judgement of Paris” Chardonnay Dinner (Manzoku Japanese Restaurant): Nose was rather mild and hard to pick out the fruits, but got the clay and stones. Some apricots and nectarine. A Burg that clearly is falling off its hill. Quite a pity

March 11, 2018 - Tasted from a nearly full bottle that was opened 24 hours prior.
    Vibrant golden hue.
Aromatically rich, with apple, pear, and a touch of peach. There is also a layer of wet stone on the nose.
In the mouth the acidity pokes out a bit. It clips the finish on what would otherwise be an amazing experience. Unsure whether this needs to sit for a few more years or if the fruit is already starting to fade.

January 15, 2014 - Guy Amiot Chassagne Montrachet les vergers (Kitchen table tasting): Medium yellow/straw. Restrained nutty and oaky nose with a whiff of pineapple. The sweet fruit is revealed in the mouth - pineapple , apple flowers and medium toast oak. The structure is typical for 09. That is, very upfront fruit but low acid and minerality structure indicates short term aging.
