Community Tasting Notes 5

May 10, 2013 - Appearance: Deep and dark red.
Smell: Stables, leather and led pen. Not very fruit oriented.
Taste: deminished, but still present, tannins. good pleasant acidity. Rather earthy and a little dull. Went very well with grilled steak with béarnaise sauce.
    Drink now.

    December 26, 2012 - Drinking wonderfully.
    This wine is fully mature.

May 7, 2011 - one of 6 wines brought to a dinner tasting, nose was quite good with minerals and fruits, palate was medium to light. Definitely a Bordeaux but rather simple and a bbit too light for me.

September 26, 2010 - Bordeaux: Tasting at two Chateaux (Bordeaux-Médoc, Haut-Médoc): Not as ready to drink as the les Ailes de Paloumey, this needs more bottle time. It was very green, offering tabacco leaf, eucalyptyus and sharp black fruit. It was tart and tanninc, but with good potential.

April 4, 2010 - This second tasting of this wine completely undewhelmed me. Maybe it was the combination with food, but it was a bit thin and I found it to be astringant
