February 25, 2021 - A serie of superb Old World wines (Amsterdam): I suggested a 2005 Sauternes, yellow to golden colour, a bit restrained bouquet, ripe and lively taste, balanced but not very complex.

December 9, 2018 - Good fill, cork sound and difficult to get out. Sweet caramel apricot nose that entices. Strong caramel/burnt demerara sugar notes with hint of apricot essence. Soft acidity. Moderate finish. A caramel Sauterne first and foremost. didn't change in the glass. Perhaps better in it's youth but has certainly held up well over 21 years. The heat of the alcohol showed slightly.

June 6, 2016 - Un Sauternes fin et complexe comme je les aime, sans trop de richesse, bien posé et épanoui, frais en finale pour alléger sa sucrosité: marmelade, sucre brun, cannelle, fleur d'oranger, abricot sec. Le côté orange est aussi souligné par de jolis amers très fins. Très agréable!
