February 3, 2020 - Nice surprise here. Been stored since release at 55 degrees. Deep gold color, nose a bit muted with apple, lemongrass, pear and white flowers still there. Bit of spice also. Nice tertiary characteristics of mushroom and earth with a bit of wet stone minerality. Palate is consistent with the nose, fruit surprisingly tart though a bit muted, tertiary notes balanced nicely with the fruit. Medium acidity, medium length. Very nice and really shows what TC can do with age and proper storage.

December 10, 2018 - A bit past its prime but still silky with plenty of vanilla, lemongrass and the classic tartness from the Rhône grapes.

  • Grenik Does not like this wine: 88 points

November 24, 2016 - Disjointed and sloppy. Pear, green apple, floral flavors. Perhaps reaching end of life.

November 16, 2014 - light, light golden on the eye. very light boxwood on the nose. More boxwood along with a citrus and honey floral thing on the palate. a very gentle (not aggressive) wine with nice finish.

September 21, 2014 - aroma - mild thai chile, taste - sweet, buttery, peppery, little alcohol on finish; almost like whiskey or moonshine
