March 3, 2016 - wow was this dissappointing. Color said it all when poured, and while still had an attractive nose of pure minerals, on the palate fruit was pretty much gone and there was little in the way of grand cru pedigree to recognize.

February 8, 2016 - Casual Burgundy Dinner with Friends from Burgundy (RPM Steak - Chicago IL): Ripe and intense with mature aromas that still retain good floral charm. Also mature flavors that are quite tasty but are slightly simple. Good enough now, certainly time to drink up.

April 29, 2015 - Burgundy Dinner with Friends (Everest - Chicago IL): Slightly past its peak, while still showing very good concentration and intensity. But a bit too much butterscotch here.

June 16, 2014 - Paul Pernot Featured at the Lieu-dit Cru Blind White Burgundy Dinner (L2O - Chicago IL): Single blind in Pernot BBM vertical. Slightly more advanced than I'd hope for a 2001, but drinking nicely. Moderate concentration. Drink up.

7/1/2003 (link)(Pernot Paul Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet) Pale yellow. Another subdued nose. Palate is much wider than the preceding wines. The finish comes with a crescendo of fruit. Spoiled by just a hint of spritz, despite that, a fine wine.
