June 5, 2023 - Pop and pour into Zalto Bourgogne glass for short decant.

M+ intense nose, smokiness like charred oak, peaty (whiskey), cigar box, tobacco leaves, meaty, dried and cooked red and dark cherries, dried dark plum, alcoholic touch that’s reflecting the warm vintage. Powerful but refined.

High acidity, medium alcohol, m+ intense and body, dried salted plums, dried figs, 100% dark premium chocolate, charred oak, cigar box, spicy and peppery and peaty finish. M+ finish. Fine grained tannins that’s integrated. Would have love less make up, but considering the vintage, very well done.

April 25, 2023 - En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Four (Bordeaux): From Magnum. Black hued fruits; sweet ripe plum, sweet spice, polished oak. Juicy, sweet plums, dense, oaky, still very primary and one of the few not showing at least its age. Not my style but this is good.

March 17, 2015 - Cherry, currants, cappuccino, mature fruit and pleasant mid-palate this is satisfying right banker.

May 17, 2014 - With dinner, no formal notes. Sweet, slightly confected fruit, great minerality, good length but a little out of balance, dry, medium length. Drink over the next couple of years.

December 18, 2013 - Medium bodied, with a jammy, earthy, red fruit nose, the wine is soft, bright and ready to drink.
