January 17, 2008 - Seattle Burgundy Group Tasting #4 (Cordon Selections): Smoky earthy aromas, loads of nut and hay, tremendous length. Warmed up and held together very well. Hold until 2015 with quality provenance.

December 2, 2007 - Gold with a hint of green. In the nose the vaguest sense of corkiness, which I never could decide on. Given that it didn't get worse with air, I am inclined to say it wasn't. Other than that the nose was attractive, minerally, and almost meaty. In mouth, all there, with a great almost meaty honeyed mineraled acidity than cuts right through. Bright. A long acidic, but not overly so, finish. A slight corn note in finish. This wine is absolutely all there right now. Perfect wine for something with a cream sauce, or anything that seems to want a fair amount of cut.
