Full and complex nose. Developed and balanced. Good depth. Yellow orchard fruit, modelling clay and mineral. Quite elegant and stony after a while. Gently oaky.
Medium-fullish, fullish palate. Yellow pear. Pure fruit. Round and harmonius. Balanced and with good grip. Creamy and long. Perfectly integrated oak. Reminds of a fat Chablis.
Second time with this wine, and the vintage makes it a clear Premier Cru level wine. Further cellaring potential 3-5 years. -

Skyhög syra och en tydlig bitterhet. Andra tyckte om det här mycket men den var inte min favorit trots att jag normalt sett gillar Narvaux. -

October 18, 2020 - BYOB hyped and disregarded vintages - a free interpretation (Sollentuna chez Innertällmo bryggeri): Fairly green on the nose with some grass notes, as well as some deftly applied luxury oak that is not fully integrated yet. Very good acidity, some fat on the body, a little spice from fruit and/or oak on the finish. Very very good and with the future ahead of itself. Highly recommended.

Medium-fullish nose with a mix of tropical fruits and orchard friuts. Quite developed. Gently oaky. Some rubbery mineral notes. Very pure and sharp. Hints of gun-powder minerality as well. Elegant.
Medium-fullish, perfectly developed palate. Very fresh and intense. At the same time harmonius and round. Balanced and polished. Gently oaky. Perhaps lacks that extra layer of complexity.
We find that Remi-Jobard makes quite elegant and light-footed Meursault. Sometimes almost reminding of Chablis. The quality of the Narvaux vineyard is on par with most Premier Cru's of Chassagne-Montrachet we thought and a proof that the classification in the era of global warning is of different character than in the 1930's.
