August 27, 2012 - This had loads of charm and paired beautifully with a cheese souffle. Lovely wine.

September 17, 2011 - Rich but not blowsy, this was a lovely aperitif wine which is drinking very well now. Medium intensity and moderate acidity. Very pleasurable but doesn't have the incisiveness (or the price!) of a top Puligny.

August 30, 2011 - Aromatic, rich and long. Very pleasant with food. Plenty of life - should improve further. Kept well too - very enjoyable finishing the bottle the next day.

February 25, 2011 - Too cool on opening, so rather muted. After half an hour and some swirling, this started to wake up. Clear and clean nose and palate of gel fruits and oak - slightly over oaked at this stage though very refined too. Put aside for 3 hours and reurned to find a wine that had blossomed. Incredidly focussed nose and palate of white flowers and crystalline fruits. The oak had really subsided and integegrated. Really stunning, classy and magical.

September 20, 2009 - Salty green fruits, with just the rich amount of nutty richness. Almost a salt-cured vegetable flavor as well. Firm acid, very long in the mouth. Still young but definitely no crime in drinking this now. Some might find this a touch lean for a 1er cru but I thought it was fabulous, particularly with our steamed crab w/ egg white dish.
