February 27, 2024 - Le nez est légèrement avancé avec ses notes de sous-bois ainsi qu'une belle touche terreuse sans tomber dans l'excès. Les fruits rouges et noirs sont présents en arrière plan. En bouche c'est beaucoup plus expressif et généreux ! Un vin aux aromes secondaires possédant assez de fruit pour nous donner un magnifique vin mature typique de la région.
Si vous posséder une bouteille, c'est à boire maintenant. -

October 7, 2023 - Decanted one hour. Lots of sediment in this so need a proper decant. Black cherry and currant, earth, smoked meats, tar and little barnyard. A little rustic. Holding up really well though and a fine example of this wine after four decades.

August 27, 2023 - Still plenty of life. Needed some air and time to blow off some funk, but opened nicely. Still plenty of fruit, great length.

Intense nose of black fruit, pepper hints of mushrooms and all spice

Palette very long
Lots of life but may not improve.
