1990 Krug Champagne Vintage Brut
89 points
Pretty impressive for a 34 year old Champagne. Still has some effervescence and fruit. Though, this vintage has seen better days.

2018 Lamy-Caillat Chassagne-Montrachet

Excellent expression of Chassagne-Montrachet, held back by the vintage. Drink these up.

2020 Caroline Morey Chassagne-Montrachet Chambrées
93 points
Excellent expression of the 2020 vintage and Chassagne-Montrachet. This is a producer I'm going to buy a lot more of. Keep for a few more years in the cellar.

2009 Comm. G.B. Burlotto Barolo Monvigliero
97 points
Pale garnet color. A little shy on the nose with medium intensity. Developing with rose petals, red cherries, leather, licorice, spices. On the palate, medium+ acidity, medium tannin, high alcohol, medium intensity, medium body, medium+ finish. Can drink now, but suitable for further aging. Very elegant Barolo. Benefited tremendously from a slow ox.

Red
2009 Bartolo Mascarello Barolo
94 points
Medium garnet in color. Pronounced nose. Developing. Red cherry, leather, menthol, tar, licorice, spices, pine nuts. On the palate, pronounced intensity, medium+ acidity, high alcohol, medium+ tannin, full bodied, long finish. Can drink now. This will continue to improve slightly, but is not far from peak. Powerful, but still very svelte Barolo. Softened a bit from the slow ox.
