June 4, 2016 - Golden yellow colour. Sweet honey, lemon and light toffee. A bit over sweet for me but still a nice fresh dessert wine.

March 3, 2014 - NobleRottersSydney - Shiraz 10 years+ (Verde, East Sydney): {375ml, screwcap, 10.5%} (DavidC) Rather aged nose; vanilla, copper and maderised apricot aromas. The palate follows on; it’s rich, sweet and bronzed in flavour. Luscious, medium-bodied, but far from complex. Medium length finish. This label is usually best before it turns five. Enjoyable enough, that’s all.

February 19, 2014 - Got myself a dozen for under $10 a bottle and having just finished the first I'm congratulating myself on a bargain buy. Wonderful apricot and honey on the nose followed by lush apricot marmalade character on the palate and whilst sweet it isn't over the top. Some complexity, though its singular fault is insufficient acidity to make it a keeper. So drink over the next few years as it will cloy with age. As a younger wine though, it will bring a smile to your face.

February 15, 2013 - 2013 Sydney Royal Wine Show - Exhibitor's Tasting & Trophy Wines Lunch (homebush & Darling Harbour): [Silver medal] {375ml, screwcap} Youthful, perfumed nose of sweet caramel and butterscotch of medium intensity. Medium-full bodied, denser than the 2008 Noble One, but less sweet. There’s a brown sugar quality to the marmalade flavours here. Only low-medium acid, and with a med-length finish; it’s a more obvious wine than the Noble One, but at the same time at bit more satisfying, and certainly with an easier-to-predict future. Usually less than half the price too, which is a big factor.

April 7, 2012 - {375ml, screwcap, 10.5%} Super luscious wine back in the mold of the award-winning 2006, rather than the very-much-more diffuse 2007. Rich citrus/apricot/botrytis aromas and flavours; quince, marmalade; medium sweet, with just enough acid to keep it going for a few years. Medium-full bodied, medium-length finish which will turn cloying inside 5 years I reckon; still for not much more than $12 it's a luscious crowd-pleaser that'll stand up to some pretty sweet desserts.
