December 9, 2016 - Second bottle I have opened this year and this wine is drinking very well. Will go on and perhaps improve. It is very complex both on the nose and in the palate. Cherries and berries and maybe allspice. It is full and fascinating right through the palate. Tannins are just right and the finish minerally and full to the end. I think this is a seriously good wine!

September 3, 2016 - SLDS Backups and Blowouts: Pepper, bacon, redcurrant, light herbs, roses and smoke - plenty of interest on the nose. The palate shows lovely balance, with great detail and poise to the fruit. Good length and texture. Focused and really quite impressive.
