  July 21, 2022 - 2006 masi campolongo di torbe, amarone della valpolicella classico…La fois de l’année où j’ouvre de l’amarone.
  J’avoue que celui-ci est trés bon… nez expressif, fruit noir intense, chocolat, canneberge sechée, cerise à l’alcool, vieux sous-bois, cuir
  En bouche c’est super concentré, la balance est relativement bien quoi qu’un peu de restants de tannins est perfectible. Fruit noir, leger boisé, canneberge, zeste d’orange
  Longue finale un peu moderne

  December 25, 2021 - Outstanding. Maraschino cherry, amarena under spirit, chocolate, forrest floor, hints of toast/coffee. Great balance between refreshing acidity, smooth tannins, and fruit concentration (though I wish it had a bit more weight in the palate). Warming alcohol but not disturbing. Quite persistent finish, yet lacking a bit of complexity to make it a top wine. It could evolve more with a few years.

  July 1, 2020 - Drack denna flaska vid 2 olika tillfällen och båda gångerna så blev vi lika förvånade... tycker att man har rätt att ha väldigt höga förväntningar på detta vin! Vet inte om Masi misslyckades med denna årgång?
  Denna flaska saknade komplexiteten, det är ett helt ok vin men inget speciellt vilket detta borde vara!

  August 17, 2019 - Gourmetklubbens fyrtiotredje middag (A+N, Sundbyberg): (Decanted for half an hour)
  Deep red colour with a youthful nose showing butterscotch, some oak and warm alcoholic notes that need more time to integrate. Very austere tannins on the palate with dried herbs, raisins and some liquorice and with a very alcohol warm and lengthy finish. This is still very youthful and is still not showing the maturity I long for in a good Amarone and needs at least another decade to reveal its more mature notes.

  May 12, 2018 - DIscover VINO - Fine wines corner; 5/11/2018-5/12/2018 (Sofia): Well I was expecting to be blown away here, but as it often happens high expectation leads to certain disappintments. This is by all means excellent wine with its refined and elgant style, but just lacks the depth and precision of really great ones.
