August 2, 2019 - This wine has 90+ potential, but I think I opened my bottle too early. Well structured with everything in place - perhaps a little too much oak for my taste - but a quality wine for sure.

May 21, 2019 - A Merlot dominant Bordeaux, albeit only just 51/47. Given its age, the fruits had developed well in the bottle by the time of drinking, and the nose was strong in expressive dark fruits, possibly plums. A lot smoother on the palate than I had expected, softer than the St Emilion I had last week. Well balanced, and may even be better in another year or two,

October 21, 2017 - If the palate had lived up to the nose, this might have been a 90+ point wine. The nose was quite complex showing fragrant red and dark fruit combined with notes of wet leather and discreet vanilla. The sturdy medium bodied palate was comparatively inexpressive with round rather dull fruit, earthy minerals, decent acidity and firm tannic backbone. It's my guess that it will open up further down the road. Just good right now.

May 8, 2014 - UCGB tasting Bordeaux 2011 (Amsterdam): Beautiful dark fruits and some chocolate in the bouquet. On the palate a supple and round wine with good dark fruits, beautiful oak, a good balance between acidity and sweetness and friendly tannin. Very good qpr and that is why I like this wine. 87 - 88 for now. You can probably start drinking this in 2017 and it will last at least until 2025.
