  August 27, 2020 - This wine has a beautiful and hedonistic texture that I find beguiling. The plush texture has evolved into an earthy velvet with an almost buttery note on the palate. There's plenty of nutmeg and cherry and plum. Outstanding wine, drinking gorgeously now. Never ending finish brings it home.

  March 19, 2020 - Love this wine. There's a velvety, earthy, easy hedonistic thing here. Nutmeg, white pepper, plum, and black fruits on the nose. Palate is fantastic...driving on the velvety texture and perfectly balanced acidity. Love this wine!

  November 17, 2016 - very dark, opened the day before, 2nd day very smooth, balanced, a little acidic in a nice way. I really liked.

  March 3, 2016 - I first tried this in July, 2013 and found it a bit challenging until it opened up after breathing. Saw CT notes about short shelf life so decided to open my remaining bottle.
  This time I let it breathe for 3 hours before trying and that really helped.
  This is smooth and plush with deep dark fruit. Seems like it still has at least a few years left, but is drinking very nicely now.

  February 27, 2016 - Tasted at B'ham wine. This was soo good, nothing to detract from a smooth tasty wine. Bought 3 bottles at a great price. I was surprised that a Napa Tempranillo could be so good and it certainly did not seem past it's drinking window.
