October 8, 2021 - Almost a decade after finding it undrinkable on release: Beautiful red fruit and floral nose, red fruit up front with a big shot of blood orange (that acidity it's always had) poking into the middle, along with cedar and pencil lead... texture isn't quite there but flavor-wise reminds me of a 10 year old Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Really beautiful now, could see it going further but alas this is my only bottle.

March 14, 2018 - Light red. Subtle nose of raspberry and baking spices. Elegantly styled, modest depth, fresh strawberry, some tart cherry juice, with a moderate finish with cranberry and a mere hint of earthiness.

November 3, 2017 - Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: From southern Germany to Oregon Pinot (Private Location): Also a more light approach to Pinot Noir. Red fruit like strawberry mixed with herbal/earthy notes and some spices upfront on the nose. Nice acidity level and still a good amount of red fruit on the mid-palate. Besides I found also some soil aromas. Very nice to drink now.

November 3, 2017 - Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Germany and Oregon (Asperg): Grown on volcanic soil. Clear, medium ruby-garnet color. Clean, medium, youthful developing nose with aromas of strawberry yoghurt, floral notes (rose petals) and spices. Quite elegant.
Dry, medium+ acidity. 12,6% abv. Medium+ intense flavors of red fruit, spices, chalky mineral notes. Good tension and grip, elegant and driven by its primary fruit. Can age for several more years. 90-91.

December 9, 2014 - Sad to finish my lost bottle of a half case, wish I'd bought more. Lovely and a steal at $16.

January 20, 2014 - Very simple all around. The nose was not spectacular, or memorable in any sense of the word. As for the taste, I remember being quite bored, ready to put down the glass and step away after a few sips. An unpleasant game note took center stage, and there was an unquestionable amount of unnecessary sweetness. It was easy-peasy. Nothing more.

November 8, 2013 - I think there may have been two different lots of this wine. I got mine from Storyteller and the wine is really nice. Yes, it's light, but it's singing. Nice aromatics and juicy as hell with great acid. It's a small wine but a good, honest wine.

June 8, 2013 - Another enjoyable bottle. Fabulous nose for the price. Great pairing with Copper River salmon (with Salmon 'Rub with Love'), au gratin potatoes, and roasted asparagus/vidalia's drizzled with 12 year old Balsamico.
