April 25, 2021 - A lighter style auslese. Very good acidity to balance the sweetness. Marmalade and candle wax and lime zest with hints of ginger. Paired well with a fruit tart.

Fairly viscous for a Mosel Goldkap, moderately sweet, complex melange of stone and tropical fruit with a nice spicy edge. The only downside is lower acidity and absent slate or minerality. Fat, round, and tasty for sure, but lacking refinement and ideal acid/sugar balance of better examples.
