November 5, 2019 - Last bottle, but the best yet. Citrus and lemon oil with a touch of something nutty.

February 11, 2018 - Same notes as last time, except perhaps a little added density with age. Absolutely lovely wine.

May 23, 2017 - A delight. Lighter body, fresh minerality (I don't like that word), light oak, integrated fruit with a gentle citrus tilt.

January 12, 2017 - Beautiful wine, but perhaps in an awkward middle age. still some richness and oak, but without quite enough minerality to balance out the fading fruit. this should either have been consumed 2 years ago, or in another 2 years, but i don't think now was the right time.

January 10, 2017 - What a tasty wine. Lovely fruit notes of citrus, lemon, pear and baked apple. I got a touch of caramel upon opening, as well, followed by almonds, vanilla and a mineral finish.

I thought the wine was best on its own, but it was also very good with the trout almondine and with the scallops duglere. (In both these dishes it seemed to like especially the almonds and the paprika. Not sure I would pair a white wine with paprika. But it really worked). Not as exciting a pairing with the grilled Atlantic salmon.

Much more like a French burgundy than a California Russian River chardonnay.

Quite excellent. We paid $32 and it was definitely worth the tariff. Retail is $50 and there are 340 cases made. Drink now but has time, too.
