December 5, 2020 - Slightly flint nose, with delicate white flowers, honey, caramel apples, mineral showing in both nose and palate.
Med plus body, med plus acid
Fantastic Chevalier and wine of the night

    December 14, 2019 - nose - pineapple, powerful
mouth -rich popcorn, caramel corn, long buttered. heavy & rich.
    perhaps for lobster?

April 13, 2018 - HDH Burgundy Auction; 4/13/2018-4/14/2018 (Chicago, IL): The nose here shows a little bit like a Hong Kongese egg tart. Sweet, with a touch of oak and a generous amount of richness. The palate is very similar, but there's a bit of fatness here that almost drives me to think more of Batard than of Chevalier. However, there's still great mineral cut and freshness here.

February 28, 2018 - Pre La Paulée Dinner (The Morris, SF): Baby killing here -- but it was pretty darn delicious and with a couple hours of air, showed excellent layering and complexity. Initially it was all about Grand Cru power with round, luscious white fruit. With time the layers of mineral and spice really kicked in. Very fresh and lively to counter the concentration.
