September 14, 2014 - $15 bottle @ home. Moderate dark reddish violet appearance. Light tannins, jam, black raspberries, and crackers in the nose. Medium acidity. Moderate light body. A bit puckering. Straight forward berry flavor though not overly fruity. Kind of spicy. Not overly complex but is a nice, easy drinker.

May 31, 2013 - Wine Spectator School: ABCs of Wine Tasting (Clarkston, MI): Ruby red in color with pale/medium intensity. An enticing nose of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, spice, date, and rose petal. Moderately crisp in acidity with fairly heavy tannins for a pinot, this may benefit from short cellaring. The flavors didn't stand up to the catchy nose, with very little complexity on the finish. Not bad for the price, just a little weak in the middle.
