September 6, 2018 - 1989 Bordeaux @ Piccolino (Piccolino, Liverpool Street Stn, London): Tarte Tatin nose. Nicely sweet. Tarts Tarim palate too, cut with butterscotch. Surprisingly good. ***1/2

April 12, 2017 - Last bottle. Pretty respectable; and certainly the cleanest. Some orange squash, barley sugar notes. A shade watery and one-dimensional but enjoyable without being anything great. Good value at the £12 paid.

August 19, 2016 - very respectable, without being not great. not too cloying.

October 30, 2015 - Better than other bottles of this. Very clean. Light on the palate. Decent touch of acidity. Not wildly exciting, but pretty tasty.

November 15, 2014 - First of a case, drunk over two nights. Pretty good straight off. Very middle-weighted and balanced. Not loads of sweetness nor loads of acidity. No heaviness: it's light but not at all insubstantial, like a German Riesling. Some barley notes. Slips down (too) easily. Next night, it hasn't moved much - a touch of mandarin added. Very nice.
