May 1, 2016 - Mont Redon lunch (The Hughenden Hotel, Woolahra): (From Magnum) liquorice and gun smoke, sous bois, autumn leaves, leather. A little dried orange oddly enough. In the mouth it's leather with tight tannins, a little muted tired, a touch of sourness as well. Perhaps past its best or a little advanced.

June 25, 2011 - Nicely aged, peppery and licorice notes, starting to turn rusty coloured, with a hint of herbes de provence. Not a long finish, nor intense bouquet.
