    February 2, 2022 - Subdued nose of pineapple. Spritzy mouth feel. Grapefruit pith and citron in the finish. Seems less complex as compared to most other Riesling Smaragd's from FX Pichler.

    March 18, 2017 - Weird soapy taste on the finish. Tried multiple glasses after rinsing and drying to be sure. Bummer! Flawed!

    April 29, 2016 - Oeil jaune paille;
    Nez subtil, qques notes de fruit à chaire blanche (poire), léger aspect florale. Dimension empyreumatique importante & de la poussière de roche "chauffer". Somme toute sévère, austère, fermé... Difficile à percer.
    La bouche est majoritairement sur les notes empyreumatiques & la pierre "chauffer". C'est très minéral, le fruité est quasiment absent. La finale est poivrée & salines. Pas facile à apprécier. La fraîcheur y est, bien droit & texture légèrement grasse qui apporte un bel équilibre. Le lendemain, l'ensemble est plus "aimable", fruité (poire) est plus présent & il y a des notes de miel qui apporte une meilleure "balance" aromatique (ça vient coupé un peu l'aspect pierreux & empyreumatique). Mauvaise phase?

    March 7, 2016 - Riesling & Grüner Veltliner tasting (at Alex Dvorkin's home): Transparent light yellow
    Matchbox nose, with light petroleum and tropical fruits aromas that turns to more classic Riesling aromas
    Light fizzy, juicy tropical flavors, bitter, good acidity, fine structure, good complexity, elegant aftertaste, long finish.

    October 4, 2015 - Brass coloured. Isn't this a bit dark for a dry Riesling? Gentle aromas lingering on the nose with lime and honeysuckle on the front. Minerally on the palate, bright and elegant. A bitter tang on the aftertaste.
