October 28, 2021 - Still hanging in there. Tannins are gone, but it hasn't turned. Nice flavors, and a great wine to drink with a friend. Amazing that it's 25 years old and still drinking well.

June 1, 2014 - Some black cherry notes on the nose. Very soft tannins still remain. Slightly acidic but still retains some fruit. 2014 probably a bit too long to hold on to it but still very drinkable.

March 15, 2014 - Saturday Afternoon at Domaine - featuring Nebbiolo (Domaine Wine Storage - Chicago, IL): Tasted blind. I guessed a super tuscan. Lots of oak and had that graham cracker and mocha notes going on. Thought it was a pretty decent wine, but wasn't overly exciting.

March 15, 2014 - Saturday Fun at Domaine (Chicago, IL): Tasted blind (I pegged it for an early 00's Barolo based on the earthy and fruity nose, though the tannins didn't feel right). The palate came off a little hollow and lacking in concentration, though there were quite some nice fruit flavours. Very light tannins that didn't have too much grip.

April 27, 2013 - Don't know how, but it was bright luden's cough drop red out of the bottle. A bit dead on the nose and a short finish, but in between, a very pleasant light version of what you'd expect. Bright red fruit, a bit of spice, no tannin experience to speak of. Guess I timed the last bottle reasonably well. Complimented the eggplant well.
