  November 27, 2012 - La Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin (Vancouver) (Pied-á-Terre): Nose here was excellent and was quite pronounced showing notes of ripe red fruits, spice, leather and a hint of iron. Darker fruits on the palate with powdery yet firm thanks, solid acidity and a weightier mouthfeel than the previous three reds. Longer finish. This has most depth of any of the reds so far but also is the most youthful, although the nose showing some development while the fruit and structure on the palate is clearly on the young side. Needs 3-5 years. Excellent. 90+

Tons of spicy black pepper follows through onto the palate, along with red cherries, red plums, raspberries, iron, and a touch of menthol. Plenty of acidity couples well with the generous showing of sandy tannins. Medium+ length finish ending on notes of tart red plums and black pepper. This is delicious now, but is still showing very young and I'd give it at least another five years in the cellar. Very good.
